Munia nesting in neighbourhood

This munia was nesting in my neighborhood. I could capture this with my Tamy 70-300. It was close but this being such a small bird had to crop a lot to come to this composition.

In post processing I have used GIMP done 

1. Shadow recovery

2. Adding contrast and

3. Selective sharpening 

Navratri 2014

I wanted to capture the action and mood of Navratri in Surat. All these clicks are without flash and tried to get the mood.

At food festival it was "Raas"
